View Full Version : dead bodies disappear

Hello Everyone

I have a bit of a problem with playing Men Of War Assault Squad .. well a bug more than anything .. everytime I play a skirmish in any mission, well the dead bodies always seem to dissapear after a small while and its extremly annoying, especially when I want to send my men to search the fallen enemy for ammunition, grenades ect .. I have downloaded the latest patch v1.81.2, thinking that may do the trick, but it hasen't fixed the problem .. in the first Men Of War and Red Tide I never encountered this problem, so I know that it can be fixed. When the dead bodies dissapear its takes away the realism of the game.

Can someone plz let me know how I can get around this annoying problem.

I believe that stuff disappears mainly to keep the battlefield from getting cluttered and maintain video performance.

There is a mod on the DMS site that keeps stuff from disappearing. You can find it at:

I had to go into options and activate the mod .. and it worked .. wahey !!! lol .. then I checked it out and I had the time of me life lol .. there was dead bodies everywhere .. debri .. broken/blown up tanks ect .. great for cover to .. looked like a propper battlefield in the end lol .. and more to the point I read somewhere that using the patch decreases the performance of the gameplay .. but I never really felt that with playing the game .. it just increased my enjoyment .. as the reaslism was brilliant .. so thankx a million to everyone for your feedback:grin:

Oh and the links on dms forums, the ones on gamefront are fixed too.

@Tyro: Just unzip the contents of the zip file into your mods folder, which is a subfolder of your main Men of War.Assault Squad directory.

Then activate the mod from the in-game options menu.
