So i installed the Il2 1946...

Now what all patches do i need to download and install and where can i find them? And is there anything besides patches i need to install?

Taken form Mission4Today website:

Retail Version is 4.07m. The game version may be found in the bottom left of the game startup screen.
The installation defaults to C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 (Change this to your installation DIR if you installed it somewhere else)

IL-2 Sturmovik 1946: Patching Order:
Download and patch in the following order.

CD/DVD Rom: v4.07m
Patch 1: 4.08m Official Patch - (If your version is 4.08m continue to the next patch.)
Patch 2: 4.09m Official Patch - (If your version is 4.09m continue to the next patch.)
Patch 3: 4.09m Skins Pack Official Release - (Optional Skins Patch If you want the new skin pack make sure to install before continuing to the next patch.)
Patch 4: 4.10m Official Patch - (If your version is 4.10m continue to the next patch.)
Patch 5: 4.101m Official Patch Fix for 4.10m installations only
Once the patches above have been installed your installation is current.

But as I wrote in a different thread back yesterday:

If you have bought IL-2 1946 on Steam, it's already upgraded automatically to V4.09m, including the 4.09 skin pack (it's not optional on Steam, you get it in any case). So if you make use of the Steam version, you only have to download the two patches V4.10m and V4.101m and install them manually.

Maybe its not a good idea to suggest a mod at first, if a new player ask for patches. Let him get to know the game first, for gods sake! :(

Where I can find that 4.09m skin pack? Mission-site doesn't work for me, cause I'm not a member.
