Noob Feed review, score: 86 /100
"In the end, Men of War: Assault Squad is surprisingly complete RTS game. While it is an expansion, it offers more depth, challenge and entertainment than quite some full-fledged strategy titles out there. Those who are looking for a streamlined campaign with an interesting story and difficulty that gradually builds up, will be disappointed. When it comes to deep and intense gameplay, though, there are few games that deliver more than Men of War: Assault Squad. The combat is deliciously satisfying, there's enough content to play for hours at a time and the dynamic nature of the gameplay, as well as the variety of options, make for an RTS title that you can just keep coming back to."

Koalition review, 8 out of 10.
"For the low price and the sheer amount of content, Men of War: Assault Squad is certainly worth a look if you’re looking for something more tactical and polished than what’s on the market. It’s not really pretty and doesn’t sound amazing, but the strong gameplay really won me over, even without having played the first game and its expansion. It’s different enough from the competition that you won’t feel bored with more of the same, and there’s the benefit from all the playtesting it’s received over the last few months that are going to give you a very polished end-product."

Platform Nation review, 9 out of 10!
"Men Of War: Assault Squad was a nice step away from the FPS war genre it was a welcome change. If you are looking for a great Real time strategy game then look no further then this title. Men Of War offered a great game and I think the price was fair for what you get. Sad that I didn’t get to play more into it for this review but will continue to play."

RipTen review, 8.5 out of 10
"In summary Men of War: Assault Squad is a highly difficult RTS game with an incredible learning curve. Numerous units, unlimited strategic opportunities and hours of gameplay make for an amazing PC experience hampered only by poor unit path finding and lack of a true single player mode. If you’re a strategy fan you owe it to yourself to play this cult hit."

Game-Debate review, 8 out of 10
"Men of War – Assault Squad is an excellent strategy game that gets across brilliantly the struggle of wartime battles and a sense of fighting an overpowering enemy with the odds stacked against you. In particular it's nice to have a strategy game come along that requires you to actually use strategy and tactics rather than the Total Annihilation/Supreme Commander method of 'build a bazillion ships and win by numbers.'"

RTSguru review, 8 out of 10
"Men of War: Assault Squad is a thoroughly enjoyable game that completely caught me off-guard. I’m sure I’m not the only person out there who has never played the first game and for that reason, hadn’t really considered looking into Allied Assault. For anyone who is looking for a solid war strategy game, I highly recommend it. Especially if you can convince a couple friends to pick it up with you to do some co-op gaming.'"

Men of War: Assault Squad is a sequel to the critically acclaimed real-time tactics game Men of War. Assault Squad features a completely new cooperative skirmish game mode with access to five different nations (Russia, Germany, USA, Commonwealth and – for the first time ever in the Men of War series – Japan) as well as increased realism and accessibility.

I've split the video into 6 parts so it's a bit easier to digest, enjoy!

I have been playing the men of war series for quite some time and I love that it indulges my attention for long periods of time without boredom. I am hoping this series continues and you add even more to the game. I have noticed you stick to the main countries of the war however I think its time to broaden the list especially for the assault squad formats. This list would include factions such as "Free France", Poland, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, South Africa, British Raja, Italy, Australia/New Zealand, India, and Norway. Of course the campaigns of these countries were not as large as the others and most were in the war trying to get a small ending prize consisting of either trade routes large land areas or resources but it would pique the interest of players to learn of countries becoming allies that they may not have expected for instance Finland and Germany fighting side by side. I would also like to see some more items as far as defense put in place not for the whole map but for starting points. What I mean by this is let the player fight to gain the ground and then build the defenses with the risk of being attacked. Then the player can strategize the placement of defenses to include new defense items. Trenches, small bunkers, and even setting up of field buildings like a medic, barracks, hq, and a vehicle depot all of which would be where recruiting of units would happen. Also it would be great to see some intense terrain battles not just towns. Other then that this series is incredible a great change from the normal rts games and I hope it continues. :D
