True skirmish?

Hello all,
I was disappointed with the first game not haven skirmish feature and am excited that this edition does, although I have read that it is co op skirmish rather than yourself vs your computer.

In skirmish do you have to have a co op human allie?

No, you can play all alone in Singleplayer, or play with up to 7 friends. Completely up to you.
