Hi together,

until now I have built more than 700 COOP and SP missions for IL2-1946, so I thought I also could create a SP campaign for CoD.

So here is my first try and, like in 1946, I have selected my favourite game CFS1 (Combat Flight Simulator). Unfortunately, the campaign is not complete, because the second part BFE (Battle for Europe) can not be realized because of the missing U.S. aircrafts. So this only remains on Canon's Britain MAP in 1946.

The campaign includes all BoB missions of the German Air Force and the RAF with the original CFS1 briefings around which I have designed the missions if possible at the original locations.

Because I have created everything under TF-Mod 4.3 this is recommended. I hope that I have eliminated all script errors. While playing here on my machine I had no crashes (only mine, because I am the worstest pilot IL2 ever has seen).

The campaign can be downloaded from https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=6DA09AFFB49A6132!5810.

It is available in 2 languages(EN and GE). The only thing missing is the mission outro of the English version, because I have to translate this section first. English briefings themselves are not translated, because these are also the originals from the CFS1 version.

After unzip copy the two directories into the CoD root directory and the new menu entry "CFS1 Campaign" should appear in single player start screen.

I hope the 36 missions make some fun.

Greetings

Hi Wurzelbrunft

thank you for the missions. I will try it.

It is sad but true that after creating hundreds of missions you offer us still such child's trivia. The briefings are a joke in comparison with reality.
- "Hints" are inappropriate unless your focus is on a target group of 12 years old kids.
- Missions goals like "at least shoot down half the hurricans" foresee the worst.

What should be in a briefing:
- Intelligence/Threat Scenario
- Operating Area Entry/Description/ Boundaries
- Target Area
- Visual Cues in the Target Area
- Target Area Weather
- Ceiling/Visibility
- Winds/Altimeter
- Threats (if data are available)
- - Type/Capabilities (if data are available)
- - Locations (if data are available)
- Tactics
- - Ingress
- - Formation
- - Speed/Altitude
- Weapons Delivery
- Radio Calls
- Codewords
- Emergency procedures (Alternate Airfield, Egress etc.)

If you are able to read, then you would realize, that this are the Original CFS1 Briefings like they were delifered with the Original game.

That one who is able to read has a big Advantage!

It is sad but true...
... how members of the community react to the efforts and gifts delivered by others.

Thank you, Wurzelbrunft!

Nur schon dass du eine Kampagne gemacht hast ist spitze! Wer der Community gratis was anbietet, braucht sich nicht zu entschuldigen!
