Hi Guys,

I would appreciate your feedback on this drawing

Be aware though it's a fictional plane (sorry you hardcore guys)
still, i think it looks pretty realistic.

I've been drawing planes like these and would like some input about it by people who know a lot about aircraft.

Anyway, it's a german plane. I know the markings are all wrong, i haven't been studying that part. (sorry)

I guess it's a Focke Wulf/Stuka mix-up.

If you guys like it i could perhaps do one every week or so.

here goes my critic!

-canopy to forward. where would the engone be?
-looks to small, in ratio cockpit vs plane, it feels like seing a 70% replica of a WW2 bird
-tail looks a little bit twisted to the right.
- absolutely no room for the 2 centerline machine guns

good things:
it does look like a 1940 german plane, you know, the stucka/109 feeling of abrupt edges and lack of aerodynamics
-like the 6 guns on wings, it could be the thinking of rever engennering of british and american planes


keep the fun up, and bring me more pictures, i like to make stories up for these :-)

lol notice how i drew the swastika, or whatever you call it, reversed.
btw, the stretching of the tail is partly to blame because of the movement of the camera, my scanner is broken or something.

The airframe looks excellent,like a 3d drawing,but the markings are screwed up a bit.You could have used a ruler for the perfection.
BTW,the swastika aka hakenkreuz (IDK why germans call it this) is quite punk graffiti style.

I used to free drawn airplanes,but I only used to do by side 2d perspective.
People used to say my Ju-88A drawing was a "penis with wings".

Looks great, when I was a kid I used to draw everything Planes, Tanks, Ships, Spacecraft etc..keep it up but try some real ones, something recognizable.

It forced me to take my old notes from high school and try to find something, but te "best" pieces ive done its impossible to find now...so I can provide you only THIS...terrible, i know:)... and photo taken by phone, so...

Have to say, that Im still the same -attacks from above are the funniest for me:)

Nice drawing! I like to see all those influences from different planes that are blend into it.
When I see it, some parts make me think about the wildcat/hellcat, Bf109, Bf108 and a the engine
of a tiger moth.So that's a nice piece of international cooperation for a WWII plane :grin:

It reminds me of a drawing that I've made some years ago about a spitfire with an Bf109 nose and engine.
There really was such a plane. The Germans build it with a crashed or captured spitfire. Unfortunately
I can't find the drawing anymore. But I've add some drawings from the school notes I'm currently studying.

It's nice to see that so many people used to draw airplanes.
It seems to be a very popular thing to draw, although it's one of the most difficult!

beetje jammer dat het met een ruw potlood is getekend.
Dat laat niet veel plek over voor de details.

Ik studeer grafische vormgeving.

Vroeger als ik echt tekeningen van vliegtuigen maakte, dan lijnde ik die wel mooi af met een
zwart stiftje. Vooral voor mijn stripverhaal. Soms schilderde ik ze ook in. Dit zijn hier gewoon
krabbels van tijdens de les en ik heb nu eenmaal een krabbelende stijl van tekenen.

Het gebruik van een stift is inderdaad een goede manier voor de details, maar als je de kleine
details niet kent dan vind ik het niet erg als een tekening er gewoon wat waziger uitziet. Dan
zit er wat meer actie in vind ik.

Van jou is het goed dat je vliegtuig zo gedetailleerd getekend is omdat dat net het geen is
waardoor het imaginaire vliegtuig er wat geloofwaardiger uitziet.

Nee eigenlijk niet.
Ik heb de firefly wel in een modelbouwdoos, maar ik heb het model nog niet gemaakt.
Ik heb enkel de tekening met het verfschema kunnen gebruiken. Ik heb daardoor
inderdaad enkele studies moeten maken voor dat de firefly er wat op begon te lijken.
