I just stumbled across this short (20 mins) documentary and thought maybe some people on the forums here might find it interesting too. As far as I know it hasn't been mentioned here before.

It's basically about some research that was done into the crash of a Lancaster bomber in England in 1943, but it's just as much a story about the research itself and what followed from it, as it is about the actual history being researched.
I won't say any more about it at this point, except to qualify my recommendation of the video by saying it's the documentary itself, the way it was made, that I find just as interesting as the subject-matter, so I understand if people don't really get it or find it as interesting as I did.
