Hi DT:

Following the instructions on page 6 of the Manual 4.10, I have tried to create a "Quick" Mission in FMB to add the map of Solomon Island to the QMB.

After creating and saving it as "SolomonRedScramble01.mis" in a new folder named "Missions/Quick/Solomon", when I open QMB the map appears in the menu, but every time I try FLY, the message "ERROR - DATA FILE CORRUPT" is shown.

I have created eight flights for each side. One of them with a full flight path.

I tried the name Solomon_(July_1943)RedScramble01.mis as well, but no way.

Which is the right name of the map(s) of Solomon ? There are several maps depending on the date (1942-1944). May all of them be used in QMB?

A QMB Solomons mission is available for download in this thread which could be useful to have and use as a example but the first part of the mission name is whatever you named the folder in which you placed the missions followed by 'RedScramble00' (you have 01).

There are quite a few requirements such as not assigning squadrons, having your 8 flights all set to 'take off', correct naming of the file, etc so might be worth checking the download. Also, there is a bug in QMB, I have to launch my new QMB based missions on a default map then exit and select the newly installed map to avoid the 'data corrupt' message.

Yes, it did work, sir, following your instructions !. And I can confirm your point about the Data Corrupt Error: I had to start the mission first with other default map, then stop, and run it again with the Solomons. If not, I got same error.

Thank you very much for your help and Baron Wastelan's !!
