Red Tide wont launch

Hi guys. Just bought red tide retail version and its installed successfully, but when i try to launch the game the title screen comes up then i get this error message:

Program will be terminated.
[0x62f910] [EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION] [noncontinuable 1]
> main

Any ideas what this is and is it fixable.
