painting trucks

i have 4x4 hummer,
i was wandering if it is possible to paint the trucks using photoshop or something,
have skinned trucks and cars using dxtbmp and corel photopaint before and i would love to do the same to the trucks in this game,
if anybody knows how to do this please post how!
