WIG is interesting, but it's not that relevant to WW2.

Ground effect is already a feature of IL2.

ground effect is relevant mr.igo kyu during the take off and during landing.
Expecialy when you take of from the carrier or you take off from the mountain.
i take my fiat g.50 i choose little alps map and i take of from airport to mountain after take of i go down down in the mountain why? this is a vortex effect or ground effect?
strange wen a take of from the carrier not have this problem but if i take off from mountain after my airplane go down down and risk a stalling.stall.

ground efect is also most rlevant mr. igo kyu also when the airplane fly 200m to the forest airplane have vibration in il-2 airplane not have vibration(turbolence).

Xilon (who reminds me so much of RAID) isn't getting ground effect and turbulence mixed up is he?

Planes dip going off the lip on a carrier too, but usually because of not enough speed
