Colours can be generated by minute physical structure dividing light into wavelengths, not just pigments covering a surface.
I.E. reflection of one wavelength, or several combined, to give a desired result.
Obvious benefits mean no fading.
Germany has significant research in such obscure fields, anyone have links to anything remotely related?
