I didn't leave 1C.
I haven't been doing only simulators all this time. I'm also doing a lot with photography. For example famous manufactorers, Nikon, Canon, Samsung, etc, give me their latest hardware to test before they hit the stores to look for bugs etc.
What you've read now about me is another sphere of interest for me.
All these things help create new top products.
3DreamTeam company deals with virtual world using advanced game engines (3 at the moment). Can't describe everything but I will say that I am currently managing one of the most promising new advancements in 3D practically for all platforms including most common from PCs to smart phones.
Also read on the site of vizerra.com about aerospace simulation....

I knew you loved photography but never realized that you test the newest cameras from all of those big companies.
Thanks for the message here and keep up the great work on the Battle of Britian.

mmm sounds like they are going to try to venture in to the 3D imaging gaming environments.
A lot of companies are looking in to this, as well as the new 3D movies.

Thanks for clearing this up - it did indeed sound like a full position, and it's not unusual to see someone pursue a new career after working in the same field for so long. Glad to hear that's not the case and you're sticking with us for the time being! :)
And all the best for this new endeavor; sounds interesting indeed!

Wow, the 3D stuff sounds exciting!
Oleg, I hope you are enjoying yourself and are set up to make gobs of money. It's great to see someone with that independent, entrepreneurial spirit "make it". It's obvious that you work hard so you deserve it...yes, we see the how late/early some of your posts are made lol.
I see this as good news for those of us looking forward to SoW.

Do the results of this project come together with SoW development in any way?
For example: 3D technology for SoW?

Ok, I just thought that this could be great benefit for SoW development. If you don't think so, so be it.

Well, what do you expect. Oleg is the top celebrity of flight sims. :D
If he shaves his mustache off, it's in the flight-sim-news of course!
You've got a nice site with a lot of very good information about photography, cameras and stuff. Good to see you bring this experience into making graphics more realistic (and hopefully less vignette-cinematic).

SoW is supposed to be in the box already, If oleg decides to rework it just for some 3D capability I have to consider taking the next plane to Moscow and shoot him myself.
(just kidding)
This is probably the third post you're asking for 3D, may I ask what makes you so keen on it?
Did you just buy a 3D monitor(or equipment)?
Which games you play in 3D?

G'day Oleg,
If you happen to have a Nikon 600mm that they sent you I can help you test it :-P

Emphasis is on the fun part - not because I don't think the project could make business sense, but ot emphasize that your responsibility is primarily towards us!!! :D ;)

Great thread title, should be a t-shirt with your face on it.
From the interview, this sounds strangely familiar ;)

Oh for the love of God folks!
It bugs me that Oleg had to make this thread
Some of his fans need to take a step back and reacquaint themselves with reality.
Some of us really believe anything we read online, and others think that if they read two stories online, the most flimsy coincidence or vague link between the two uncovers some kind of secret. Blogs, message boards...all contain "facts" now. Even news items online are filled with errors ranging from facts being muddled to simple spell-check errors. A lousy job in reporting news is just accepted by us these days. And the oddest part to me is, we in this community especially seem to want to believe the worst. If there's a question about something, we apparently look only long and hard enough to find the negative, and then stop looking, as if we are afraid the facts might turn out to support another possibility. We look away before we see an answer we don't like
Snap out of it, people!

Any advancement in 3D where you don't have to wear stupid "peripheral visionless" glasses must be winner.
BTW, I've worked out where to keep your tablet when on the move, forget the "man-bag", go for "T-shirt Pouch". Shaped like a chestplate from antiquity, this shirt has a large pocket in the front where you slip your Pad. I know, some might say "reminds me of Telly-tubbies!" .. yeah! but if your pad is running a porno, it would be telly-tuggers instead! ... joking.
Hope your new ideas are winners ..
