Hi guys!
I am thinking about to buy a new joystick.A few days ago i discoverd the ch-products, with a fighter-combat-and normal flight stick. i have read in an other forum that these ch joysticks should be really good. so my question is if somebody here has experience with one of these sticks and could give me some feedback if the sticks are worth the price.thx in advance for all tips!

I bought my Fighterstick USB secondhand 8 years ago and it is still spot on accurate, they are quite large and can be a problem depending on hand size, and very lightly sprung, overall they are a great stick.

My fighterstick is a few years old now,and still feels as good as new.As said above,it is quite big (and remember it has no twist function)
It was expensive, but I expect it to last forever.

thx for your quick replies!
i think a big joystick is convinient for me as i have big hands.
sounds good that both of you have this stick for years and it still is in good shape.
ähm by the way, i have one stupid question: what exactly do you mean with twist function???

You need Rudderpedals there is no Twistfunction (Z-Axis) on the stick.

can you adjust throttle with the fighterstick

Yes you can, there is a "throttle-Weel" on the left side.

i dont know if i want to afford pedals. now i control the rudder with my coolie-hat, and i assume that it will be possible with the fighterstick as well. am i wrong?

No that should work just the way it is now I think. As said though, the fighterstick is big,so make sure you can reach the coolie hat comfortably.I find it a bit of a stretch.

i will try before i really buy it.in some time i will definitely buy rudder pedals, but i think i will wait with that for storm of war.
so lets hope my hands are big enough to cope with that stick, cause im more and more
convinced of that it.

There is only one bad thing about CH joysticks...
Once you start flying with them no other joystick will fit you.
The mechanics behind the joystick movement are quite different to any other so the feeling is really peculiar. You will have a hard time to get use to other sticks.
The good thing is that they last forever; I will probably still have mine while 4.10 comes out...!

Salutes.
