Why so many problems for the landing in the La9? Perhaps for bad visibility? La5 and La7 don't have these problems?

More powerful engine on virtually the same airframe = higher torque effect. Besides La-5 had this problem, for example Golubev from 4 GvIAP KBF recollected that this airplane had a severe tendency to overturn via roll to the left when throttle was fully aplied on final aproach...
