When I try to get over to the other fortress on the twin pipes, I get a script error. Been getting script errors all chapter long. Have tried from every direction, even the ground. What now?

I'm not sure you actually have to go over there. There are some bad guys there and some things to pick up, but to progress you actually have to go back down to the tank and head back the way you came to a newly opened tunnel entrance.

Then I lose the vampire artifact and all the ammo over there which I'll need for the next leg of the game. Been here before but had to come back 'cause my pc crashed when I was on chapter 9...

Update- I can't even get off the stairs to walk to the open gate that I should be driving my tank through. So I'm what, saving my savegames and reloading the program?

Update 2- Have now deleted all files except savegames, redownloaded and reinstalled twice. No change.

Update 3- Have now redone everything with all of my antivirus software off.

Same result.

Well, it's a damn shame that this company abandons support so soon for this old but still amazing game. After trying different patches (which couldn't be installed by normal means) I found a solution for this DAMN BUG.:mad:
The only thing you have to do to avoid the script error, when the tank passes the barricades is : LEAVE THE TANK (press "e"). This works fine. But later there are script errors too :(

Again, the support for this game is just a joke :evil:

Found the problem...
Microsoft.
Make sure you only have your vid card drivers installed(in my case, nvidia)and not Microsoft's generic drivers. That cleared up all the problems I was having everywhere...

Isnt´t anybody going to solve this problem of Script Error Chapter 6 ?, getting of the tank works a period, lowering the video cuality also but still the games crashes :-x
