I am having a hard time playing the game. it says I dont have the main disk in the drive, an error pops up yodda yodda. so I was instructed to download the "NODVD" patch from www.mission4today.com. But I have tried becomming a member of that site for 3 days now and they wont email me back the confermation. so I cant get the download of NODVD file. Does anybody know any other websites that have the file for download? or a different way to get game to work?

BTW: The mission4today guys know there is some sort of registration problem. Several people were having issues. Great site to be on once you do get up and running!

Ok swiss
I downloaded the file you linked to me from rapidshare. now what should I do with it? I saved it to desktop, I tried opening it, and nothing happened. do I have to put it in with a different folder or something?

I cant beleive I am having all this trouble trying to get this old game to work LOL. It really shouldnt be this tough.

Copy & save the original il2fb.exe(in your current il2 installation folder) to a new folder somewhere.

Copy paste my il2fb.exe into your installation folder and replace the original il2fb.exe

once it has replaced/overwritten the original exe, double click it, il2 should start now.

I had same problem with mission4today until it clicked that Gmail was treating the confirmation email as junk mail.

I dont know how you knew what to do but I am glad you knew what was what with it all.
