Did Il2 ever have Hydraulic damage effects? Or does it still?

Okay, brief and to the point, I am sure in the past I have shot up aircraft and seen a single leg of the undercarriage drop out of the wing, while the other stayed up. This was on an AI aircraft to, so I wouldn't expect it to be someone trying to get instant 'drag' effect.

Was this ever there or does it still happen.....but I just haven't seen it in a long time?

Yes, it exists but is fairly rare to see.
