Hello there :)

I got a problem with my Kings Bounty. I just bought the Gold Edition on steam, and downloaded the games, and i tried to play the first one, "Legend". Everything was cool, until i was finished with creating my hero. Then when i got into the first room, infront of the trainer, all the landscape was blue, i can play but everything is mostly just blue. I killed the dragon, in the still blue game. And when i was fighting the necromancer in the next room, i tried to use a spell and my game stopped workíng? :(

Any Help plz.. anything will help :)

I have the exact same problem. well minus the freezing . But the menus and everything look fine and I tried tweaking the graphics settings to no avail. I used to play this on an older laptop until a driver issue caused the game to crash. Now I am on a much more powerful machine and still have issues. My video card is an Nvidia 310m with 1g of video ram. Out of curiosity what video chipset are you using?

just in case it helps diagnose I am running windows 7 64bit
on an intel core i5 2.4ghz
4 GB memory
nvidia 310m with 1GB video ram
I also have on onboard intel video card.. im going to try running with that but it is a lot less powerful. I am using an asus laptop with optimus tech
Driver version for the nvidia card is 189.64

I tried with my intel card as well and had the same issue.
So if its a driver issue it impacts both cards. I just updated the intel card to the latest driver yesterday too

I tried armored princess and the problem does NOT exist in that game. So what it is; it is specific to King's bounty the legend.

also here is a link to another forum where someone is complaining about something similar. Its an older post with an ATI card. Does not look like they found a solution.

Well my problem magically went away on its own. I didnt update windows or change drivers or anything. I just started it through steam to play with the settings a little more and it just started working for no apparent reason....
