Help in making triggers for sniper mission

Hi iv been planning making missions based on resistance from Polish partizans against Soviet invasion
I have used the map editor alot but have issues with mission editor i would like to make a mission where you have to sneak to a building an kill officer in a movin jeep with a sniper rifle.
I am unsure how i would make it so that the convoy followed a route and if u didnt shoot at all convoy would continue as normal if u shot and missed convoy would continue at fastest speed etc
any help pls :)

I recall a post on the forums about a similiar mission. Snipe a officer out of moving convoy, look for old posts.
