Hi Mitra...

Just a stupid question..

How can we download the patch if we don't have online internet access on the computer..?
I remember that XIIIth patchs were available offline..

Still nothing; I will try to ask. But why you cannot use the automatic update? the time of download should be the same of a direct link.

So, about that patch... I have to use a public computer to hop on the internet, cannot hook my laptop up. I need to know where I can download the patch offline, otherwise I apparently can't play it. It just crashes every time after the intro movies.

If it crashes right after the intro movies, this patch won't help you i think. Update your video drivers, maybe this will help. What is the video card in your laptop?

It's a Gateway nv5925u with i5-430m and Mobility Radeon HD 5650 1gb. I've got the latest Catalyst 10.6, all other drivers are completely up to date.

Basically what happens is I get a memory address error. I've tried deleting the profiles folder (to see if maybe a bad setting), but no dice. The weird thing, though, is that when I start the game again (after it creates another profile folder), it won't even load the intro movies, it I get a screen that is mostly black with some blue in the corners, the error pops up, I click ok on the error and then it pops up again, ad infinitum.

I have to ctrl-alt-del and end the process in my task manager in order to recover.

Perhaps is only a driver, can you post your dxdiag file?

I assume you don't want me to post all the text here, so I uploaded the files contents and you can view it at:

Thank you for any help!

Your ATI drivers are fine.

The patch should do the trick. I hope it will be available for download soon.

you can easely use "update.exe" in the game map for patching.

THe 4 battle problem is corrected by patch 223, I think tomorrow I will receive a direct link to patch file. You sure your firewall and other peer software not block the access to server ip?

I understand that there was a killer bug in the third mission. Is that fixed? If so, I'm buying this.

Update is not working at this time and I cannot find an english version of the v 2.2.3 patch. Does anybody have a copy or know where I can get one? As it is I am stuck with the out of memory error in the 4th mission.

Thanks Nachash, but I have seen that and I don't want to transform the game to Blood of Europe. I actually have a copy of that game. I want to play the original scenarios from Real Warfare 1242.
