Uhhh My NVG's are broken

So I got the game and the patch, proceeded to lay waste to the tiny nation of Algueria, and after hitting cgl 7 (IIRC) I found some PVS-7B goggles in a shop. Bought 'em up quick, and then night came. When I clicked the NV button, the ground turns black and the sky turns green and i can't see a damn thing. This game seems like it was built on Brigade E5, and the NVG's worked fine then... Is this a known issue? If I knew how to take a screenshot I would. Its odd, and it makes it impossible to fight with night vision. Any ideas?

they work fine for me (unofficial patch1.06 and BSM1.01, but also in the vanilla game)
to take a screenshot all you have to do is hit the print key on your keyboard, then open up an image editor of your choice, even MS paint does the job, and hit ctrl + v while that program is selected.

have you tried the usual stuff? updating the graphics card drivers, installing the latest directX?
