Some of the newer video cards support multiple monitors, but they didn't exist up until a year or so ago so the only solution was TH2Go. Nowadays, if you have an Ati 58xx series card with eyefinity support you obviously don't need TH2Go, as they display the image across all monitors just fine by themselves.

the 57xx series supports eyefinity as well iirc (both ati card series support up to 3 monitors afaik). for BoB i recon this is the way to go for sure, the technology is ripe for it
just upgraded some parts of my pc this WE with this in mind (forced upgrade, old pc died a sudden death on friday). got the first 5770 card, 750 watt power, 16x pci-e mb slots, 4gb paired 1333 ram etc (already have 2 monitors, just need a 3e one now and the 2e gfx card).
this will be a budget system with BoB in mind, but sadly is suspect dual ati 5870's will be needed to run BoB with 3 monitors (there is a large difference in compute performance and Texture Fill rate between those 57xx budget cards and the 58xx series, compute performance being 2x higher and texture fill rate 20x higher respectively) see http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,2845,2354154,00.asp for a good comparison
have you come across some good articles for eyefinity that discusses the bus speed needs, seems double 16x is needed, but some say one 16x and another 4x might do it to.

To be honest i don't really know much about eyefinity, i just know what it does in the broad sense
