I am having problems running Hardballs Aircraft Viewer on my Windows 7 64bit PC. It ran fine on my old XP PC.

Initially I got a Can't start program as MSVBVM50.dll is missing from computer error so I downloaded and put this file in the same folder now I get a Component comctl32.ocx not correctly registered. file is missing or invalid error. The file is in the folder so where do I go from here? It appears to be a VB issue.

Is this a Windows 7 problem?
Will the program run on a 64bit system?
Anyone done this?

S!

I had similar problems with installing my TM Cougar drivers for Win7, missing files and so on. But it helped when I right clicked on the installer exe and chose Troubleshoot Compatability. It then asks about the issue and you can choose previous windows version it worked on and the installer is reconfigured or ran in a compatability mode. That solved my TM Cougar issue so could be helpful in your case too.

Thanks Flanker35M but there is no installer with Hardballs Aircraft viewer just a copy or move files to setup.

First try to run Hardbal in Windows XP Compatibility Mode
If this not help then
this package install and register missing components so Hardbal should work:
http://www.ascentive.com/support/new/libraryfiles.exe
If you need msvbvm50.dll
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvbvm50
