Multiplayer still active......

Is multiplayer still pretty active? Ive been trying another gm {OOW} and every time i log on there is only 5-10 people online.

There's hundreds of players online, which may not sound like a lot.. but I rarely have problems finding a server. So I'd say it's pretty active.

So how does multiplayer work? Does it use control points,where holding more gets you more resources to buy more troops or what?

at time there are more than 600 players online & more than 120 games running.

multiplayer: there are 4 dif. types of multiplayergames.

battlezone: y team must capture/hold flags (3 - 9 flags)
capture the flag: y team must capture/hold 1 single flag
combat/combat FFA: fighting without capture flags
value cargo: y team must save a cargo

in multiplayer there is also a "rating system" (Ranking Games) avaiable. y will get points after winning a game.
