Has anyone had any luck with using their Ace Edge in Windows XP? I plugged mine in today to just mess around and it recognized it but not as anything, just "unknown". I try to add a game controller and it gives me an error. Are there drivers I need to download? Can anyone help? I read on here and elsewhere on the internet that the Ace Edge works on Windows so clearly I'm doing something wrong.

Hmmm, I don't know what your missing, I have plugged mine into windows Xp and had it show up as the Ace edge and the control panel shows the entire layout of it. Well the only thing that I can think of that I had that may have made a difference is a 360 wireless adapter for the pc. I bought that so i could use my 360 controller on the pc. I guess the software with it could have gotten the drivers for the ace edge from microsoft. It did do updates. That is the best I can come up with. I'll look around and if I find anything out I'll let you know.

Mine shows up on vista, but the rudder and thottle axis report as one in the same. I've been looking for a way to fix it and if I run in to any XP stuff I will let you know.

Cheers!

Slide the button at the base of the stick to the other setting for PC.

It'sthe ace-edge that came w/ ace combat 6. I dont see a button on the base, just a friction screw and the mode switchon the throttle. That must be the difference between this stick and the all black model.

Thanks anyway,
