What difficulty level? There are lots of us on here who play on Simulator, and there is a list of PSN ID's stickied at the top of the forum. Best thing to do is send friends invites to some of the players, and then invite them if you see them online (Just make sure you mention IL-2 in the friends request, or they might not accept.)

I've seen you in at least one sim match... add AR_Kozz

the more of us add each other, the more likely more than 2 or 3 of us will be online at once.

I'm typically online around 8pm to 2am US pacific which is 4am to 10am GMT for Europeans, up to early afternoon for the Siberians

Look often at the map, use the controller set on aviator mode and you will spot even the flies ;)
Flight stick is sure great, but controller works better imho. At least until the almost legendary patch comes out..

Aviator is best for a turning fight, unless and until they allow button-mapping. Just don't forget about the ground. Takes some practice to judge AOA while you're staring at the enemy out of the top view.

Hrok what time of day/time zone are you online, I haven't fought you yet

Dude I'm gmt+1, usually online around 10pm on. But recently I have not been playing cause have not much time and when I have I'm too tired so I go to bed ^_^

Feel free to add me if you want, I'm starting to miss online games so I'll be back soon (I'm not an ace though, u're warned ;))!
