ok has anybody else had this problem with the training missions on the 360

happened to me couple of times yesterday and has happened again today

while on a training mission i set it up against 16 bombers once i get shot down and respawn i can see the bombers on my map red triangles but they are not in the sky ?? ive tryd this on realistic and sim but they are simply not there any more even tho i can see them on map ??? i think it must be yet another bug ?? i did have the game running from my harddrive so i deleted it and no its running from dvd but its still happening never used to before ??

Your not chasing ghosts. It's just that when you respawn, your not at the altitude they are. So they're either below you, (but they would be easy to spot from below you) or they're just above you, and your to far down to get them at the moment.

Believe me, it happened to me as well. But I just climbed a bit, and BAM here comes a He-111 right at me!

According to the map there is a massive dogfight all around me, but back in the plane it's just me myself and I. It was usually just down to the planes all being in that middle range of invisibility between the black dot helpers and in your face. They could of course also be above or below.

But if it's happening on realistic too, that's strange, unless you've somehow disabled the red boxes via HUD settings?

yea thats what i thought in realistic you should have the red brackets around the bomber but there is nothing ?? if it was just happening in sim id put it down to altitude like soviet says but in realistic you shoud still see the red triangles around the planes will have to check my hud settings thanks for the help :)

Having said that, I still find the red boxes can be next to invisible against the ground as well (I really struggled with ground targets on realistic at range sometimes)... Maybe they are below you?

Well from a distance, you can't see the red boxes if they're to far away. Can you? I can't, but when I get closer I can. So it's probably they're either below you, REALLY below you, or REALLY above you?

I've had this happen to me on arcade on PS3 as well, so I'm thinking maybe a glitch.
