oh great crime against humanity!
why is this game not available on the PC?!
the 720p resolution of a console isn't enough to do justice to these graphics which are so fantastic. The enemy planes are just blurry black dots.
Heroes Over Europe on the PC you can make out every detail of the ME109s at the full 1080p screen resolution.
why have a virtual cockpit or simulator mode? there are no flight controllers made for the XBox that I know of.

too bad, otherwise this is a fantastic game

Yep, it's a sad fact. Although I don't fully agree with your blurry black dots comment.. I use my pc screen and the graphics are beautiful. No black dots whatsoever (at least not when they get close, maybe that's your problem? :P).
And I'm not sure what you mean by your last comment. There's the AV8R flight stick, and the Ace Edge. And even if they weren't here, why would that exclude virtual cockpit/simulator mode?

Of course for someone who has built a full size replica Mustang cockpit like one of my coworkers did!
unless he can figure out how to hack an XB controller into his controls (yes they all function)

Sucks for him the Mustang is a horror to fly :P. Should've gone for a Spit .

Il-2 1946 is the PC counterpart to the BoP series. It doesn't have the self-shadowing, but it does have more planes. They just added in the SM.79 a few days ago, and the FM debates are off to the races.

PC gamers are stupid, all they do is brag and make fun of people who don't have a pc to play games one. Most have no life either cause they spend like 1000 bucks a month on their pc's just to hold games. Online all people do is use mods and stuff.

But hey,i would like to have ArmA II, looks awesome.

Many FSX and IL-2 addicts build their own virtual cockpits. One guy built a whole simulator box for himself (another guy did one that tilts as he flies too, can't remember the link yet) - link below:

What would be the point of bringing a console arcade flight game to the PC? The PC is the realm of hardcore flight sims. BoP would not fair well in the PC market, just like a straight port of IL-2: 1946 would not fair well on the consoles. That's why BoP is arcadey and simple. PC's and consoles are separate, and they have far different demographics.
