ok ive had my av8r stick a week now and i just cant seem to get the kills i used to with the pad ??
now i know its a cheap stick and has some issues so lets not start another bash the av8r thread

here is my problem when trying to line up on someones six i seem to over shoot where i wish to go then over correct in the opposite way ??

also sometimes my plane can be flying like dream able to pull off split s fast and easy ........then other times my plane feels like its flying in treacle ??
what am i missing/doing wrong ??

i mainly use bf109 g6 of k4

All 109s seem very forgiving (try using rudder during a hard banking climb in a spit...) but after the G2 they get weighty...all that extra punch comes at a cost...one on one a Spit will chew either in a turning battle (unless flown BnZ style...I've been up against a very good G6 pilot who used his energy really well...)

many thanks dazz

the G-6 and K-4 have gunpods, making them very powerfull, but also heavy and less manouvrable.
I dont know if you did change your elevetor sensitivity, if not, try experimenting with that. Try to find a setting that suits best for you and your plane.

Also watch your speed, try to keep it above 250km/h, and when you are doing loops etc, even higher so you dont stall. Dont go in a turning battle with a heavy G-6, and expect it to do a perfect loop afterwards. You wont have the speed to defy gravity.

Try flying the yak-3 of La-7, see if you have the same problems with those planes. (those are stable and dont stall easily)
